2. In 2003 in Tunisia,within the Euro Med Medimusses project sponsored by European Union,he represented Turkey at a festival in which all percussionists from the Mediterranean Region joined and he aroused attention very much. After that in the album series which was recorded in honour of Mediterranean Great Masters,at the percussion branch,only Misirli Ahmet was worthy of recording a honorary album and with this album- ''Natural Moments''- he was given ''The Master '' degree.

Au fil de sa prolifique carrière, il a collaboré avec de nombreux musiciens et ensembles turcs et égyptiens et aussi avec le brésilien Nana de Vasconselos et les guitaristes flamenco Paco de Lucia et Tomatito.
